Skijoring, Dog-Sledding, Pulka, Cross-Country Skiing, Walking and Jogging on the Rosebud Run Race Site

When the Rosebud Run Race Trail and Site is open, the Trail and Site is available for use by: - Rosebud Run Society Members, and
- Persons other than Society Members subject to check-in, waiver signing and payment of a Day-use fee.
All users must comply with the "Race Site Rules of Use" listed below.

Individuals taking advantage of the Day-use fee program must abide by the Check-in Procedure posted in the Check-in Kiosk each day of use. Digital signing of the Liability Waiver may be done by clicking here.
Race Site Rules of Use
- Only Society Members in good standing and persons who have paid the day-use fee may use the Rosebud Run race trail and site.
- All persons who are not a member in good standing with the Society must check-in at the Check-in Kiosk and pay the $10.00 per person per day day-use fee prior to using the site and/or trail.
- Only persons who have signed (physically or electronically) the Rosebud Run Sleddog Society Liability Waiver are allowed to use the trail.
- Site users must maintain valid and current personal liability insurance to use the trail.
- Site users must provide up-to-date and current vaccination records (Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus) for all dogs entering upon the Rosebud Run race site prior to accessing the site. Fax vaccination records to 403-335-2366 or email scanned copies to bill@rosebudrun.ca.
- The site entrance gate must remain locked at all times except when entering or exiting the site.
- Site users must stay on the groomed trail at all times.
- Trail markers must not be altered in any way.
- Parking shall be restricted to the designated parking area. Parking is not allowed in the entrance gate area.
- Access to the trail is allowed only from the designated parking area.
- No activity other than cross-country skiing, skijoring, pulka, dog sledding (including kicksledding), walking, jogging and mountain biking is allowed on the property. Once the race trail is snow groomed, walking, jogging nor mountain biking is allowed on the race trail.
- No pets are allowed anywhere on the property except harnessed skijoring, pulka, and sledding sled dogs or other dogs on a secure leash.
- No dog is to be allowed to run free. All dogs must be tethered and securly fastened to the owner's vehicle or harnessed prior to and while running the trail or securely leashed. If you have a dog(s) that will not be in the dog harness of the skijorer or sledder or on a secure leash, leave it / them at home.
- No motorized vehicles, except trail maintenance equipment, are allowed anywhere on the property other than in the designated parking area.
- No ATCs, ATVs or UTVs, except trail maintenance equipment, are allowed anywhere on the property.
- No commercial activities or ventures may be conducted at the race site except those administered by the Rosebud Run Sleddog Society.
- Trail maintenance equipment is only allowed on the property if the equipment is being operated by authorized personnel.
- During times when sled dog teams, pulka teams and/or skijorers are on the trail, sled dog teams, pulka teams and skijorers always have the right-of-way.
- Do not leave garbage and/or refuse at the Race Site. Take your garbage home for disposal.
- The trail will be closed to all site users for 5 days prior to the Rosebud Run Sleddog Classic race and during the Classic race.
- The trail may be closed to site users from time to time during special sled dog events and/or activities being hosted by the Society. In such a case, the closure will be posted on this website.
