The whole family had a great time! It just goes to show what can be acheived when a group of volunteers and community throws it's support behind an event and a cause. We'll see you next year.

This is our first year running in this race, and from the moment we walked into the musher's meeting the energy and comraderie was contagious! Race day today was very exciting, people from all over with a common love of their 4 legged families in friendly competition. The cold was more evident after finishing, but lots of spectators braved it to show support. Thank you to the incredible trail crew - it was akin to a bobsled track....just perfect. Thank you to the town and organizers for putting on a superb event! We'll be back next year...maybe with a full team! Cheers!
Arthur Verheyde, AB

Hello,

Just checked out the Trail Status and viewed the photos of the work being done to improve the trail. I have two things to say. WOW! and . . . . THAT'S COMMITMENT! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Appreciating such efforts,

Dear Rosebud Race Committee and Members of the Disbury Community,

We wanted to express our appreciation and congratulate all of you on a wonderful event. The organization, hospitality and care given every aspect of the Rosbud Run was exemplary. The dedication of everyone involved was just incredible, with the utmost consideration given to dogs and mushers at all times during the race. Every volunteer was so helpful and their joy and energy in being part of the race was amazing. We were thrilled to be a part of this race and cannot thank you enough for all your time and enthusiam in developing a first-rate dog race. The Rosebud Run will be an annual event on our race schedule. We couldn't have been more pleased.

If you are a musher looking for one of the best races on either side of the border--check out Didsbury!

Dear Race Organizers,

Rob and I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for all the effort that went into last weekend's Rosebud Run. We really had a great time. We have been doing this for a long time, and in the 12 years of racing this was the best event, overall, we have attended. No detail was overlooked. As long as we have dogs to run, we will return to the Rosebud Run.

Thank you again for everything. Your community is amazing.

Laurie and Rob Bryce, BC
We had a wonderful weekend. We love to spend time with our dogs and other mushers. We appreciate that the Rosebud Run has a friendly and laid back atmosphre. It provides the perfect surrounding to gain valuable experience racing for us and our young dogs. The Town of Didsbury is an exceptional community to be able to pull off The Rosebud Run with such friendliness and class. The hospitality from the volunteers to the Committee and every one in between was heart warming-See you all next year!

Sally and Mike Kananen, AB
Thanks for a great time! Our children will never forget the valuable experience of the junior race! Big thank you's to all the volunteers and sponsors! It's communities like Didsbury and district that keep us packing up and living like gypsies for weeks on end.
Take care!
The Ramsay Clan, ON THE ROAD
Our hats are off to the Committe of the Rosebud Run Sleddog Classic and the Town of Didsbury! Mother Nature was a tough contender over the weekend event, but was no match for the determined organizers of this event. A little more snow would have been the only thing that could have improved the weekend, the whole event was awesome... the hospitality, the organisation behind the scenes, the sponsors, the venue, and the volunteers (especially the two that helped us both untangle at the bridge -Thank-you!) The overall hospitality of Didsbury was second to none!! We look forward to the Rosebud Sleddog Classic 2008.
